“MATSUYA” is a famous gyudon restaurant chain in Japan.
In Japan, there are three major gyudon restaurants, one of which is YOSHINOYA, as I showed you last time. Also, MATSUYA is one of three major gyudon restaurants.
MATSUYA’S gyudon has different characteristics from other restaurants’ gyudon. I’ll show you MATSUYA’S gyudon.
○taste
Matsuya’s gyudon has a strong and sweet flavor. The meat and onions have a good texture, and the sauce is soaked.
At Matsuya, you get miso soup for free when you order food. This is a different characteristic from other gyudon restaurants.
The miso soup contains brown seaweed and fried tofu with a little salty flavor. It is good but not great, but it goes well with sweet MATSUYA’s gyudon.
○My favorite way to eat.
It is ordering “Tsuyudaku.” This means putting more souse than usual. If so, the source thoroughly soaks into the rice, making it delicious.
Matsuya offers a variety of sauces, so you can change the taste by using these sources.
My favorite source is French dressing. It puts on gyudon, and the French dressing’s acid blends perfectly with the sweet sauce.
○How to order.
If you can’t speak Japanese, don’t worry!
Matsuya has a ticket vending machine at all the stores. As soon as you enter the store, you find the ticket vending machine.
It is available in English.
If you eat at the store, you buy a ticket and sit in your favorite seat.
If you decide to go, submit your ticket to the counter and then wait.
A waiter stands at the bottom of the screen and gives your ticket to a waiter.
Thank you for checking it. MATSUYA has more great food. I’ll keep showcasing it.
